Francesca Think of her like "Hannah Montanna for Opera"- Francesca is a maid by day, singer by night. She originally found Rossi extremely annoying to be around, but fell for him once he was able to bring out the good in her. She’s a bit of a tsundere type and always stands up for herself. Despite her aggressive tendencies, she truly loves and cares for those around her. She is determined to achieve her goal of becoming a famous opera singer, and she takes every chance she gets to escape her job and follow her dreams. When she’s not working, she likes to read romance novels and bake sweets.
Rossi Rossi builds on Francesca’s personality by convincing her to be less up tight. She tends to overwork herself and he helps her be more laid back. Rossi is usually the one to convince Francesca to put herself out there. He’s kinda like the “funny one” of the group but he can be very sincere when he wants to. Despite his unserious nature he is usually the straightman around Dante and Benini. He’s a bit of a slacker and Fabiola usually gets upset at him for not working enough. He always sticks up for Francesca when she needs help. His hair is, surprisingly, all real (no wigs or extentions for this guy!) He like to play violin.
Benini Benini had his body altered at a very young age in order to preserve his high pitched voice. Due to this, his body did not develop the way it was meant to. As a result, Benini has a lot of insecurity about his body, so he avoids mirrors and wears oversized clothes. His mother allowed him to undergo this process in hopes that they could become famous and freed from poverty. It worked, and they became very wealthy. Despite this, Benini struggles with his self confidence, and he uses his fame to cover up his true feelings. He both resents his mother and is overly dependent on her. He loves to perform, but secretly dislikes the fame. His true passion is costume design, and his friends help him start a new life as a designer.
Dante Dante thinks of himself as an artist of the highest caliber, and basically larps as the male lead of a romantic novel (If your'e familiar with "chuunibyo syndrome" you will know what I'm talking about.) While his persona is mainly an act, his genuine passion for the arts is not. He is the main producer of many operas that Francesca stars in, and his false persona attracts women towards him. If you've ever seen any over the top caricature of an artist, you have seen Dante. You can think of him as a talented, yet overly theatrical person. I put a lot of myself into this character, and I thought naming him after the guy who wrote an extremely famous acclaimed self insert story felt on brand for him.
Fabiola Fabiola is Francesca and Rossi's boss. She technically fills the role of an antagonist but she's more mean and petty than genuinely evil. When she isn't looking, Rossi and Francesca run away to go live their double lives. When Fabi finds out, she sends out her set of comedic henchman-like soldiers to go chase after them. She angers easily, and is extremely overdramatic. She is an unmarried noblewoman, but unwilling to commit to a single man at a time. She naiively attempts to pursue Benini, but he has no interest- (you could guess why) She's known for being irresponsible and a bit impulsive.
